The East Boston Savings Bank Charitable Foundation

The East Boston Savings Bank Charitable Foundation has made grants totaling $150,647 for the 2012 distribution year. EBSB Chairman & CEO, Richard Gavegnano hosted a breakfast for the deserving recipients at the Bank’s headquarters in Peabody.

About East Boston Savings Bank Charitable Foundation
The EBSB Charitable Foundation was established to provide funding to support charitable causes and community development activities within the communities in which EBSB maintains a branch office. Since its inception in 1998 the Foundation has distributed over $1.2 million to community organizations. To be eligible for a grant, an organization must be a Massachusetts charitable corporation tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
